Service Description

AKC CGC Title or Consultation with us is required to join this class. This is a great class for a refresher course for dogs who have been through our obedience classes and just want to continue training! Public Paws is designed for dogs who are ready to tackle more advanced public behavior skills. This course focuses on: Public Obedience - Polishing leash manners, polite greetings, and calm behavior around distractions in real-world settings. CGCA Prep: - Get ready for the AKC Canine Good Citizen Advanced (CGCA) test with structured practice on key test items. Intro to Off-Leash Control - Build the foundation for reliable recall, loose-following, and handler focus — even with freedom. Perfect for owners and dogs looking to boost confidence in their training in public. Sessions include field trips with dogs to local parks, kids reading to dogs, and a visit to a local brewery or restaurant! In this class we will discuss the use of e-collar. They are not a requirement, but if you are interested in adding e-collars to your training, we will discuss how to use one properly, safely, and effectively so you can use one in this class!
